What’s the role?
 

The Treasury Manager will oversee banking operations, manage fund flows, ensure liquidity discipline, and maintain strong relationships with partner banks. This role is central to enabling operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and financial governance at Jar.

What will be your responsibilities?
 

Banking & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with banks, payment partners, and settlement entities.
• Facilitate seamless coordination across internal teams and banking partners.

Treasury Operations

• Oversee daily collections, payouts, settlements, and escrow movements.
• Monitor float positions, transaction limits, and liquidity buffers.

IPS & Liquidity Governance

• Conduct monthly reviews under the Investment Policy Statement (IPS).
• Track yields, maturities, diversification, and counterparty exposure.
• Manage compliant deployment of short-term surpluses.

Regulatory & Audit Support

• Support internal, statutory audits with required documentation.
• Maintain and update treasury SOPs and process documents.

Cashflow & Risk Management

• Prepare daily/weekly cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor credit, liquidity, and operational risks.
• Strengthen controls to reduce settlement failures and reconciliation gaps.

Systems & Process Optimization

• Improve or implement treasury systems and dashboards.
• Automate recurring treasury processes.
• Build exception reporting and alert mechanisms.
   

What’s required from you?

• 3–5 years of experience managing day-to-day treasury operations
• Hands-on experience working operationally with banking partners across teams
• Direct collaboration with functional heads
• Minimum 1 year of experience in cash flow forecasting and treasury planning
• Experience in surplus fund investments will be an added advantage
