Founded in 2021 by Misbah Ashraf and Nishchay AG, Jar is a Bengaluru-based startup with one simple belief: saving a little every day in 24K Digital Gold can truly transform your future. 
 

Today, 20 million+ Indians trust Jar as their saving partner. With flexible saving options—Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Instant Saving—we have made it easy for everyone to save in their own way and withdraw anytime. We are one of the leaders in UPI autopay transactions, crossing more than 1 million transactions per day. In 2023, we expanded our vision with Nek, our jewelry brand crafted to bring together luxury and affordability, it has since surpassed ₹100 crore in revenue.

What’s the role?

What will be your responsibilities?
 

• Create innovative, high-quality visual designs that elevate user experiences across digital platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Product Designers, Product Managers (Prioritise design over metrics), and Engineers(Good sense of design) to align with user needs and business goals.
• Build comprehensive illustration systems, style guides, and scalable visual assets.
• Present compelling design concepts to peers and executives, articulating your decisions with clarity.
• Stay ahead of trends to keep our visual language fresh and competitive.
• You'll be working with departments and stakeholders who already have a great eye for design, maybe even the best.
• (Bonus) Use motion design and prototyping skills to bring concepts to life — extra points if you can animate!

What’s required from you?
 

• 2+ years of experience in visual design (tech/product experience preferred).
• Good at Adobe illustrator, Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong foundation in visual design principles and user-centered design.
• Clear communication skills for explaining complex design decisions.
• Meticulous attention to detail and refined aesthetic sensibility.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile environment.
• Portfolio showcasing illustration process, visual design work, and motion graphics.
• (Bonus) Motion design and prototyping skills with tools like After Effects.
