What's the role?

 

The Product Manager – Growth at Jar will own and drive product-led retention by identifying, prioritizing, and executing initiatives that improve user engagement, repeat transactions, and long-term customer value across the user lifecycle.This role focuses on building intuitive, habit-forming experiences that drive consistent savings behavior and deepen user trust in a digital-first fintech product.

 

What will be your responsibilities?
 

Growth Strategy & Product Ownership

  • Define and drive the retention product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with Jar’s business and user growth goals
  • Identify opportunities across onboarding, activation, engagement, and repeat transaction journeys
  • Build product solutions that encourage habit formation and improve user stickiness
  • Own prioritization of the retention roadmap based on impact, effort, and business value

Data Analysis & Experimentation

  • Track and analyze key retention metrics such as activation rate, repeat transactions, cohort retention, churn, and LTV
  • Identify user drop-offs and behavioral gaps across the lifecycle
  • Plan, execute, and monitor A/B tests to improve engagement and retention
  • Build dashboards and derive actionable insights to drive product decisions

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, design, analytics, and marketing teams to ship retention-focused features
  • Collaborate with business and growth teams on campaigns, nudges, and user journeys
  • Ensure smooth execution of experiments, product launches, and feature rollouts

Product Lifecycle & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization
  • Continuously improve the user experience using data, feedback, and behavioral insights
  • Ensure high-quality execution with strong attention to detail and timelines
 

What’s required from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in Product Management or Growth roles, preferably in fintech or consumer tech
  • Strong understanding of user lifecycle, retention metrics, and engagement strategies
  • Experience with analytics and product tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Clevertap, etc.
  • Strong analytical thinking and experimentation mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment
