Backed by Tiger Global Management, Arkam Ventures, and WEH Ventures, among others, we have raised $50 million+ in funding. In January 2025, we hit a huge milestone of becoming profitable. Now, we’re charging ahead, focused on sustainable growth and scaling impact.
And this is just the beginning!
What's the role?
We’re looking for a Content Intern to help us research, create, and execute content across Jar’s brand and marketing initiatives. This isn’t a role where you’ll only write social media captions or assist on campaigns. You’ll work across research, storytelling, social media, podcasts, reports, and brand-led projects, helping turn interesting ideas and insights into content people actually want to consume.
On some days, you could be researching how Bharat saves and invests. On others, you might be building a podcast storyboard, writing a LinkedIn post, helping with a shoot, or figuring out how to turn a trending conversation into a relevant brand moment.
The ideal candidate is curious, understands the internet and social media, enjoys digging into new topics, and can take an idea from research to execution.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn how content and marketing work at a fast-growing fintech brand.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Research trends, industries, consumer behaviour, finance, culture, and internet conversations to identify interesting content opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Brand and Marketing teams to brainstorm, plan, and execute content across Jar’s platforms.
- Write and structure content for social media, LinkedIn, podcasts, videos, reports, case studies, and other brand initiatives.
- Research and develop scripts and storyboards for long-form and short-form video content.
- Track social media and cultural trends to identify relevant moment marketing and content opportunities.
- Support the team during content shoots, interviews, podcasts, and other on-ground marketing activities.
- Work with designers, editors, social media managers, and other team members to take ideas from concept to execution.
- Assist with content publishing, SEO, and platform optimisation where required.
- Review content performance and identify insights that can help improve future content.
- Take ownership of projects, work through feedback quickly, and keep things moving in a fast-paced environment.
What’s required from you?
- A strong interest in content, social media, and storytelling.
- Excellent research skills and the curiosity to dig deeper into unfamiliar topics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A good understanding of social media platforms, internet culture, and emerging content trends.
- The ability to turn research and information into simple, engaging narratives.
- Basic understanding of SEO/AEO and content optimisation is a plus.
- Comfort with participating in shoots and supporting on-ground marketing activities.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of what makes content interesting.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude and the willingness to take a first shot at solving problems.
Who can apply?
- Graduates or final-year students from Business, Journalism, English, Psychology, Marketing, Communications, or related backgrounds.
- Candidates with prior experience in content, social media, college media, publications, or personal content projects will have an advantage.
- Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is curious, internet-aware, and genuinely enjoys researching and creating content.
