What’s the Role?
We're looking for a sharp, self-directed growth expert to own our organic presence across every surface users find us on: search engines, app stores, and AI assistants. This is a high-ownership role reporting directly to leadership. You won't wait to be told what to do; you'll spot the opportunity, build the plan, and ship it.
What Will Be Your Responsibilities?
Website & SEO
• Own end-to-end SEO strategy - content architecture, on-page optimisation, and technical health.
• Oversee Core Web Vitals and site performance; work with engineering to close gaps.
• Commission, brief, and quality-review SEO content in collaboration with writers and designers.
• Track rankings, organic traffic, and engagement metrics; run experiments and iterate.
• Build and maintain a keyword and topical authority roadmap aligned with business priorities.
App Store Optimisation (ASO)
• Own App Store and Google Play listings copy, screenshots, preview videos, metadata.
• Run a continuous experimentation programme across store creative and copy elements.
• Monitor keyword rankings and conversion rates; translate insights into listing improvements.
• Manage seasonal and campaign-driven listing updates in sync with the marketing calendar.
• Stay current on store algorithm changes and policy updates; adapt strategy proactively.
AI & Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO)
• Monitor how our brand appears in AI-generated answers across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and others.
• Develop a content and PR strategy to elevate brand presence and accuracy in AI results.
• Build structured data, FAQ schemas, and authority signals that improve AI citation rates.
• Track sentiment and perception of the brand across AI surfaces; flag and address inaccuracies.
• Pioneer internal thinking on AEO: this is an emerging space and you'll help define our playbook.
What is Required from you?
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SEO, ASO, or organic growth, ideally spanning more than one channel
• Proven track record of measurable impact across rankings, traffic, install conversion rates, or brand visibility
• Technical SEO fluency: crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and site architecture
• Experience running structured A/B or multivariate experiments on copy, creative, or content
• Comfortable with tools like Ahrefs/Semrush, GA4, Search Console, AppFollow/MobileAction, and AI tools
• Strong written communication; you can brief, edit, and improve content yourself
• High agency: you see what needs doing, build the plan, and ship it without being told
• You work independently, create your own structure, and drive ideas from concept to execution
• Analytically grounded; decisions have a clear rationale rooted in data
• Able to get things done cross-functionally with engineering, design, and content without direct authority
• Fast learner who thrives in ambiguity and picks up new channels quickly
Nice to Have
Experience in consumer apps with both a web and mobile product. Prior exposure to AI-generated search results, structured data, or knowledge graph optimisation is a strong plus.
